Welcome to the "Counselor's Corner" website!  My name is Mrs. Worbington.  My goal as the A.G. Elder Elementary School Counselor is to empower all students in our school to maximize their social, emotional, and academic potential every day by providing a comprehensive school counseling program within a safe and nurturing environment.  Please feel free to reach out to me if there is anything I can support you or your family with.   

 

A little about me:  I graduated from Joshua High School in 2001 and then attended Navarro College for two years before transferring to  The University of Texas at Austin.  I loved Navarro and UT and had the opportunity to cheer for Navarro and for the University of Texas Cheerleading Co-Ed Squad.  Cheerleading was a passion of mine and it taught me about respect, teamwork, honesty, motivation, and many other important values that I still embrace to this day.  I feel very fortunate to be back in my hometown and working at Elder Elementary!   

 

My husband and I enjoy spending time with our sweet babies, Evie and Easton...they are twins!!!  They also attend Elder Elementary!  In our free time, we love spending time with family, swimming, cooking, fishing, gardening, watching college football, and vacationing at the beach.  We also love animals.  We have a bassett hound named Rocky, a Daschund named Shuggy, an Australian Shepard named Blue, two Great Pyrenese farm dogs named Lilly and Leopard, some cows, chickens, and a super fluffy maine-coon cat  named Sophia.
